I am a beadspriter from SoCal. I started with beadsprites in early 2012 because I wanted a hobby where I would make something. Very quickly I found myself getting a great deal of enjoyment out of it and kept wanting to make bigger and more detailed sprites.
I do take commissions, if you are interested feel free to message me at reroots.store@gmail.com
If you like my stuff please check out my facebook page and give me a like :D I update my facebook as I go with sprites, so you'll see a lot more activity there.

Exactly a year ago today I bought a jar of 11,000 assorted beads and began sorting them. It had been a little over a month since I moved from Orlando to Long Beach. I had spent a lot of my time fixing up the house since I did not have a job yet. I don't remember exactly how, but I ended up seeing a picture of Samus' ship from Super Metroid made out of beads and thought it was pretty awesome. That was probably back in January. Eventually I heard the term beadsprite and then found the subreddit r/beadsprites. After looking at a few sprites other people had made I decided I wanted to pick it up. I had been wanting to start a hobby where I
I'm trying to decide what I want to do with my future projects. I love making really large sprites, but it is very time/space consuming. I am thinking about making a series of small sprites to relax a bit. I do however plan on making another very, very large sprite in the near future. I am thinking I should use a Capcom character as they are more recognizable and will work better for publicity. I would say either Chun-Li or Morrigan as they are more likely to appeal to a bigger audience.
I finished the Goddess last week, but I've been having this feeling when I finish a project that I could make something bigger/better/more intricate. So, expect a much larger sprite that I have done before pretty soon.
I was sitting around and I started thinking about Street Fighter and my thoughts turned to some Cammy then I was thinking about a Cammy theme then I began to think about rhythm games (and how much fun it would be to tap around to her theme) and then I wondered what Reroots was up to! I don't see much from you on dA or facebook so don't forget that some of us sprite/fighter/rhythm game fans look forward to your every move!
Thank you. I haven't been doing as much as far as art goes since I got my new job. It tends to consume me, but I have a bit of a backlog of photos to upload soon.
I've been trying to stay recent with stuff on instagram and facebook. I'm usually working 6 days a week and on my day off I just try to get chores around the house done.
